The Current Opportunity

Our Business Development Managers work to build industry relationships and proactively identify opportunities to bring new clients onto the Superloop network through the provision of Cloud & Managed Services. Business Development Managers are critical to achieving long-term organisational strategic goals - through building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals, and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

As a Business Development Manager, you will

  • Meet and exceed business development sales targets;
  • Strategically identify areas of emerging demand and proactively target new business opportunities;
  • Leverage industry and client contacts, leads and opportunities to translate into sales and growth opportunities;
  • Develop and grow a sustainable sales pipeline to produce successful business outcomes;
  • Promote the organisation's value proposition through proposals and presentations;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting multidisciplinary customer relationships;
  • Be responsible for coordinating the specific execution actions of the Sales Plan;
  • Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies;
  • Work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, pricing and product team to ensure go to market activities are aligned with sales priorities; and
  • Complete any other duties as directed.

About you

The successful applicant will possess

  • 5+ years key account management in the ICT/Telecommunications industry.
  • A technical understanding of core telecommunications.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (SalesForce) or other sales management tools
  • A valid and current NSW driver's license.
  • An adept understanding of business acumen and application.

You will also be

  • A naturally confident networker, presenter and relationship builder.
  • Accomplished in strategic selling (Miller-Heiman).
  • Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
