Who we are:
Southern Queensland Steel, located at Townsville is part of Australia’s largest privately owned steel distributing company.

The role:
This is a largely autonomous position where you will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships with our existing customer base whilst continuing to seek new customer opportunities.

You will be responsible for a wide range of sales activities including the preparation of quotes, submitting tenders, negotiating sales contracts, and working to the set sales target.

To be successful in this role you will have:
• A proven track record of developing business and meeting sales targets
• Demonstrated sales experience gained within a similar industry
• The ability to form strong business relationships with customers
• Current and open drivers licence.
