ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you want to join our winning team?

We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our Melbourne team to lead the expansion of our Teamwear and Retail footprint in Australia. You will be passionate about the sports tech industry and driven to increase visibility and local market penetration for our innovative sports apparel brand.

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE

In this role, you will be responsible for leading, developing & implementing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed assigned goals.

This is a hands-on sales role where you will work closely and report to the CEO, and will be responsible for;

  • Creating and presenting new business proposals.
  • Leveraging existing industry contacts to grow your portfolio of clients.
  • Exceeding sales targets and effectively influencing exceptional team performance.
  • CRM management and maintenance 
  • Participation in market research and collaborating effectively with cross-functional team members.
  • Recruiting, training, supervising, coaching and retaining top sales talent.
  • Sales analytics to provide accurate and timely forecasts to the company.
  • Representing 776BC at trade shows, events and account meetings as a complete brand ambassador and product expert.
  • Understanding retail and wholesale metrics and leverage a thorough understanding of the marketplace to drive growth.
  • Monitoring and evaluate the competition to provide forward-looking recommendations to the company.

ABOUT YOU

You will need to be a strategic, big picture thinker who is driven by sales targets and exceeding goals. You will bring a deep understanding of the Australian sports apparel and retail market. You will be passionate about helping the 776BC business grow and providing all customers the very best experience.

  • A minimum of 5 (five) years relevant work experience, or combination of education and experience
  • Professional oral and written presentation skills
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised and exceptional time management skills.
  • Team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Proactive, with good follow up, methodical and strong attention to detail
