The Opportunity
We have a vacancy for you to join our top performing sales team as a Business Development Manager in our Perth branch. Our BDMs are given the autonomy to do as the name suggests – identify new prospects as well as manage established clients in a territory. 80% of your time is out of the office prospecting and on the road going to appointments with clients to provide a solution to their maintenance related needs.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will manage an established territory and client base in Perth. Your key responsibilities include:
- Implementing sales strategies to achieve your sales budget
- Present solution based outcomes in the form of a proposal to potential clients
- Following up on new leads and opportunities and all existing leads and pipeline opportunities
- Complete an accurate measure and estimate of the job quoted
- Follow the company Sales to Works handover for each project with the Project Manager
- Build solid and long lasting relationships with your client base
- Attend conferences and networking events to build the sales pipeline and brand awareness

Skills and Expertise
- Solution selling experience within a commercial B2B industry
- Previous sales experience in the painting, facilities maintenance, building or construction industry would be advantageous
- Experience in growing revenue with existing clients, as well as establishing new customers
- Experience in using a CRM to enter/access sales data to assist your success
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, as well as contribute to a high performing sales team
