About the Role
As a result of continued growth within our Foodservice team, a position has become available for an experienced and ambitious Account Manager.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager – WA, the Account Manager will be responsible for achieving set sales and profitability targets, developing solid business relationships with existing and new Foodservice customers, and promoting new products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve maximum sales profitability within the assigned territory by securing orders from existing and prospective customers
- Accept accountability for budgeted sales and profitability
- Manage inventory specifically required for the customer base with accountability for forecasting stock
- Assist in debt management of customers within the territory
- Maintaining and building relationships with new and existing customers
Key skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in an Account Manager role within the Foodservice/FMCG industry
- Strong communication skills and experience dealing with customers at all levels
- A passion for food and the desire to work in a constantly evolving industry
- A strategic thinker to be able to grow new revenue channels
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manage a P&L
