Cleaning Machinery & Consumables Company (Aust Pvte Owned) is seeking a confident, motivated Account Manager who can demonstrate their ability to sell, & manage a great portfolio of clients.
We have a national presence supported by distribution centres, retail stores, central supply, sales and customer service departments. Our staff are experienced and dedicated to providing innovative and cost-effective customer solutions.
The main focus of this position is to develop and maximize business with existing customers while improving business opportunities & opening New customers in Tasmania.
Reporting to the State & National Sales Managers, your key responsibilities will include:
- Account management (within an existing sales territory port-folio)
- New business development
- Providing sales consultancy across a suite of product categories to key territory stakeholders
- Ability to drive value propositions, demonstrate innovation & provide customer solutions
- Sales pipeline execution - converting quotes to profitable sales orders quickly & efficiently
- Preparing, managing, reviewing call plans & reporting sales activity on a weekly basis
- Regional travel as required
To secure this career opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with credible evidence of success
- Industry & product knowledge (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Relationship manager, able to communicate at all levels
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task, set & meet deadlines
- Interpersonal & communication skills, both written & oral
- Be highly motivated & seeking a high performance career in sales
