Who we are

MADEC is a well- established provider of employment services, education and training, and labour solutions across Australia. MADEC is experiencing significant growth which is supported in part by the expansion of our commercial labour hire business division which employs more than 2,500 on-hire employees across Australia.

We have a number of clients in the region plus the potential to secure more assignments within this area. We need a pro-active motivated Account Manager to oversee our current accounts and manage our further growth.

The role

Our labour services business division consists of standard labour hire and the seasonal worker program (SWP) which employs workers on an on-hire arrangement from the Pacific islands. The number of workers in the SWP has increased significantly with more than 1600 workers currently employed across Australia.

Working remotely, you will report to the Manager – Harvest and Labour Services, and will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and strengthening client relationships ensuring client business objectives are understood and met;
  • Conducting induction of workers to Australia and the local work environment in partnership with the client;
  • Providing ongoing support and assistance to our Seasonal Worker Program participants;
  • Assisting visiting workers with integration into the local community and the local laws and way of life; and
  • Identifying and managing all risks associated to the labour hire relationship with your clients.

About you

You thrive on autonomy and excel as a collaborative, client-focused relationship manager. You will be thrive on nurturing and building existing client relationships and have a focus on client-centered solutions and supporting employees to be successful. Experience in the labour hire industry is preferable; however, if you have well established relationship building and influencing skills, and a desire to achieve results, then we want to hear from you.

Benefits

A competitive remuneration package is on offer. As a not-for-profit organisation we offer salary sacrificing to the value of $15,900 per annum, plus entertainment expenses to the value of $2,500 per annum.

A drivers licence and National Police Check are required for this role.
