CSG are currently sourcing for a fantastic opportunity to join an established FMCG Supplier to join their corporate grocery focused sales team. Reporting directly into the Senior National Business Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining and developing the relationship across Corporate Grocery accounts. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Woolworths/Coles NAM or perhaps for a Metcash/Emerging markets NAM or an NAE with experience working on the Woolworths or Coles account.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage sales and gross margin performance through promotional activity, new product development, merchandising strategies, building relationships and becoming the category expert.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimise ranging in store, product quality standards are maintained, POS is correctly displayed and retail price surveys are completed.
- Maximise sales and profit contribution, retain and increase market share.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Key personnel and leverage this rapport to build a profitable business with the support of colleagues.
- Adhere to company vision and values and participate as a contributing member of the Management team.
Key requirements:
- Experience of managing a Woolworths/Coles account.
- Understanding of Category Development principles.
- 5+ Years FMCG experience essential
- Previous Sales or Category experience
- Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance
- Preferably degree qualified
