A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Lismore office of News Corp for a Key Account Executive within the Northern Star advertising sales team.
News Corp is the nation's most influential media organisation, a Premium partner with Google, the largest publisher of print, digital & broadcast platforms delivering over 150 house-hold names into the hands of over 16 million Australians every month. Brands such as The Australian, Vogue, news.com.au, Sky News, Realestate.com.au, Fox Sports, The Wall Street Journal, GQ, The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Gold Coast Bulletin, (to name but a few) and of course… The Northern Star.
This is a client-facing role responsible for growing revenue from a diverse mix of large, mid-sized and small locally based businesses. As Key Account Executive, you will be part of an enthusiastic and successful sales, marketing and editorial team, reporting to the Advertising Manager. You will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to sell new and emerging products from within our Digital and print advertising portfolio.
Essentials for this role include:
- Knowledge and experience in digital media
- Strong new business prospecting abilities
- Proven Account Management experience – preferably in a sales environment
- Demonstrable sales ability to achieve (and over-achieve) sales targets
- Strong ability to work to daily deadlines
Knowledge of Google Ad Word, Display Marketing & Social Media Advertising will be highly regarded
Applicants should have a proven commitment to quality of work and client service, be able to demonstrate strategic marketing ability, be familiar with budget planning and forecasting and be confident negotiators and presenters.
