Our client having been in operation for well over 20 years in Australia and 60 years worldwide now are a leader in the provision of automotive equipment and accessories to a range of different sectors such as mining, road & passenger transport, agriculture, construction, earthmoving, marine and office / corporate environments.
Based out of our clients Mackay based premises, a key position has arisen for a candidate with proven experience in the role of Sales Representative.
The Role:
In the role of Sales Representative your main duties and responsibilities will be to:
• Build solid and long lasting relationships with your client base
• Ensure regular cycle calls are being made with your client base both via client visits and phone calls
• Regular cold calling and site visits to new prospective clients
• Act on leads presented from Key Account Manager and other associated parties within the organisation
• Ensure that a regular sales funnel and pipeline is in existence ensuring that the associated branch and company is continually placed in a healthy position
The Candidate:
In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you will cover off the following attributes:
• Proven experience in an external sales / BDM role
• Sales focused attitude, someone who is note satisfied with the status quo and will be always looking for the next sale
• Someone with a confident persona who can deal with prospects / clients and internal stakeholders from boardroom to shop floor level
• Someone with a persistent mind set who will not take no for answer

For the successful candidate our client is looking to offer a base salary of $55k pa + super + company vehicle and an attractive bonus commission structure.
