We require an experienced, sales orientated & results driven Sales representative who can demonstrate current successful performance in their career.

Our client is in the Construction and building industry. They are currently looking for a sales representative to join their team to look after the Mornington Peninsula and Bayside area of Victoria. This role will be based mostly on the road. The role will include going to construction sites to meet up with clients.

This is a very challenging and varied role which would suit someone with strong sales and customer service skills who is able to build relationships

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with clients as well as identify new sales opportunities
  • To achieve or exceed sales budgets
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Territory management planning - establishing call cycles and travel paths
  • Develop sales budgets
  • Payment collection and processing
  • Place orders and follow up customers enquiries

Ideally looking for:

  • Someone with at least 3 of experience in a sales role in the construction or building industry
  • Proven track record of achieving set targets
  • Proactive and sales focused
  • Ability to close a sales, cross-sell and up sell
  • Excellence in customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Someone who can read structural and architectural drawings
  • Must have a full drivers licence
