THE ROLE - BDM
The successful candidate will have natural consultative sales skills, a proven track record of success in prospecting, business development and closing complex deals from the ground up.
My client is looking for an outstanding candidate with a minimum of 2 years SaaS experience, who is highly tenacious, focused, has commercial flair, a passion for technology and thrives working in a fast-paced / entrepreneurial environment.
You’ll sell at a national level and be an integral part of the business & strategy team.
Responsibilities:
- Acquire new business accounts in your specified territory
- Develop sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels
- Call on businesses in person and over the phone, from major corporations to small companies
- Negotiate sales contracts and oversee new account installations
- Manage and oversee the entire sales cycle from initial qualification to deal close.
- Prospect, identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Understand and convey information regarding highly technical cutting-edge platform.
- Conduct product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Create & present proposals
- Develop and maintain long lasting relationships within heads of finance.
- Monthly targets will be in place.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences & meetings etc.
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
- A Minimum 1 years (6 years MAX) experience in software sales-
- A strong sales track record in building lucrative business or generating leads.
- Bachelor’s degree desired
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Experience selling solutions at C level.
- Exceptional ability to close sales with new and existing clients & demonstrate performance
- Ability to overcome objections / think quickly on their feet
SALARY ON OFFER
$85k + Super + Uncapped Comms
$140k OTE
