  • Circa $180-200,000 Base (Neg) + Super + Comms - $300k uncapped OTE level

My client is a global leading CX SaaS vendor experiencing rapid growth with their game changing technology platform and services offerings. They already deal with the majority of the world's leading banking, telecommunications service providers and retailers and as a result of success they are seeking an outstanding Strategic Account Director to join their high performance sales team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the VP Sales, your mandate will be to effectively manage and grow and small portfolio of 2-4 existing strategic enterprise accounts - likely in the Telco Service Provider vertical. Typically operating at CMO, CDO and Head of CX level you will be responsible for selling the company's software and digital transformation services. As a proven Account Director you will be an expert at developing and closing multi-million dollar deals. Externally, you will successfully partner with tier 1 professional services/consulting forms and complementary tier 1 global vendors such as Deloitte, PwC, Accenture and IBM to deliver best practice, market defining opportunities. 

As the Strategic Account Director, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Protect, retain and grow share of wallet within your key accounts
  • Achievement of quarterly, bi annual and annual sales targets
  • Development of high level strategic account plans 
  • Effectively positioning your organisation as the Thought Leader in CX  

Key skills required: 

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering, Sciences, Business or Marketing 
  • Extensive track record of sales achievement working as an Account Director, closing multi-term high value contracts into the millions of dollars 
  • Proven relationship manager with strong executive presence and ability to sell at CxO level, to include CMO, CDO and Head of Customer Experience
  • Previous experience working for a globally recognised CX vendor or Digital Consulting firm 
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with superior level business acumen 
  • Experience selling to Telstra, Optus etc will be highly regarded
