WP Engine is looking for a motivated Account Development Representative that has demonstrable experience with technology and with identifying, cultivating, establishing and maintaining relationships with technical, marketing, and leadership level contacts at scale. Those relationships should uncover opportunities to connect potential clients to WP Engine sales representatives.

The Day to Day
As a key member of WP Engine’s Brisbane sales team, you will be reaching out to potential customers and generating awareness of WP Engine. You will achieve this using email, social media, as well as phone, using appropriate technologies to do this at scale.
Our ADR reps identify relevant contacts and build awareness of WP Engine by identifying opportunities to demonstrate thought leadership by adding value to their businesses and by setting up meetings, demos, or driving attendance to WP Engine sponsored events and workshops.
You will be connecting with digital professionals in technical, marketing, and leadership roles within startups, agencies, SMB and Enterprise businesses. You will seed their interest in exploring WP Engine’s Digital Experience Platform, and share best practices and innovations in digital technology.
Your Expertise and Passion
* Minimum 2 years of sales or market development experience with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
* Strong work ethic and consistent over-achievement
* Work effectively with little supervision
* The ability to learn quickly, contribute ideas and work autonomously are vital to this role.
* Work as part of a selling team and supporting the wider team to help achieve business goals. This will include covering for our Sales Development Reps and taking inbound calls & Live Chats when required.
* Conduct deep discovery conversations uncovering key business needs that can be addressed through WP Engine solutions.
* Develop intimate familiarity with WP Engine’s Digital Experience Platform and articulate the benefits of using WP Engine solutions to prospective customers across a broad array of industries with little or no supervision
* Developing and executing campaign ideas, in conjunction with the wider sales team.
* Prior sales experience required; exposure to Solution Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Sandler, or SPIN strongly preferred
* An understanding of cloud, platform as a service and/or hosting
* Experience working with large data sets generating reports in Excel and SalesForce to inform the sales team and run monthly campaigns.
* Experience with marketing and MarTech tools to develop your own brand and evangelise WordPress and WP Engine.
