In order to maintain the focus on the sales and service activities of our Perth business, an opportunity have become available for a highly motivated and talented Branch Manager to lead and increase our presence in the hydraulics market. 
As our Branch Manager, you will lead our sales and service teams to identify opportunities to grow and develop our business whilst providing strong customer support through solutions based sales. You will work collaboratively with internal hydraulic product managers, purchasing staff and other location management to meet customer requirements. 


Reporting to the General Manager and based at our Midvale Office in Perth, the position will be responsible for: 

  • Developing sales budgets and business development opportunities to grow the business.
  •  Managing and developing the skills of the sales and service teams of the branch.
  • Providing product and engineering solutions to client base.
  • Ensuring warehouse and workshop operations are effectively supporting customer requirements. 
  • Managing WHS and quality standards of the location.

 

To secure this exciting new role, you will need to demonstrate these key criteria; 

  • Relevant Engineering or trade qualification.
  • 7+ years hydraulics system, componentry experience with ability to provide technical solutions.
  • Proven experience running a business circa $5+ mill revenue. 
  • Ability to grow a business and identify new business opportunities.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor sales staff to successful outcomes.
  • Strong financial skills.
  • Management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer focus with an ability to build strong relationships.
  • IT literate.
