Catch.com.au is now looking for a Business Development Manager to join it's Marketplaces team based in Melbourne.

The objective of the B2B Business Development Manager is to secure 3rd party retailers/merchants who will sell their products on the catch.com.au platform. Recruiting and launching retailers on Catch's third party marketplace, you will also analyse traffic and sales data to identify opportunities and feedback to help retailers/sellers succeed on the marketplace.

You will be able to identify, prospect and close commercial agreements. You will also be organised and have exceptional engagement skills which will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the autonomy to take control and responsibility for achieving our business objectives.

This role provides the opportunity to be entrepreneurial, develop original ideas, and be at the forefront of eCommerce in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, execute and deliver a comprehensive supplier recruitment strategy.
  • Manage the preparation of commercial agreements and SLAs in conjunction with the legal and finance teams
  • Support to recruit and support sellers of various types (SMEs to large retailers) to execute on aggressive growth plans.
  • Be responsible for pipelining and reporting to the executive leadership of the business

Requirements:

  • Experience in a sourcing/procurement/buyer related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated drive to set and achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills (including database analysis and Excel skills).
  • A passion for delivering outstanding value to customers
