As part of our expansion into Melbourne, we urgently require a Technical Sales Manager to support the business development and sales activities in Melbourne. This is an exciting role that for the right individual to shape the future of this business unit.
About the role
Responsibilities:
- Contact prospect via customized call or email plans
- Connect with local commercial real estate brokers to foster referrals
- Build and maintain effective affiliate marketing relationships with related businesses
- Establish an expert profile in the local business community by engaging in general business networking and other events that target the start-up and small business community, as well as other relevant verticals
- Comprehensive market reserach to identify likely prospects and their decision makers to create qualified calling lists
- Manage a sales pipeline and process using complex CRM systems
- Monitor KPIs and conversion rates in comparison to agreed targets
- Constantly develop sales techniques and strategies to increase conversion and margin outcomes
- Develop expert knowledge about the key stakeholders in the commercial real estate, flexible workspaces and coworking sector

Skills and experience
- Prior experience in direct B2B sales in a professional services, IT related industry, commercial real estate or flexible work space experience
- Comfortable to operate in a corporate environment
- Experience in solution sales for complex services or products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interact at executive level
- Effective time and resource management
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Outgoing personality and networking skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Fluent in English, Additional international languages are an advantage
