Captivate Digital is a dynamic Digital Marketing company that has offices in Melbourne, Perth and Mildura.

The BDM role will be pivotal in obtaining new business in the Melbourne market. We are looking for someone that has extensive experience in selling digital marketing solutions. Working closely with the Director, you will take sole responsibility for acquiring SEO/SEM clients from the SME and Corporate Sector.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager initially in a permanent part-time capacity to drive our company's sales process and support our aggressive growth plans by prospecting future accounts and collaborating closely with your existing clients. 

As Business Development Manager, you will be selling the company's extensive range of Web and Digital Marketing solutions to SME and Corporate clients. 

These solutions include SEO, Social Media, Copy Development, Brand Development, Web Services, Display & Remarketing Services! 

You will be making calls, arranging and attending appointments at our office or at the client's premises and project managing the sales process. 

You will be working with some top-tier strategists who will assist you to sell the Web and Digital Marketing products.

What we are looking for...

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Digital Marketing sales.
  • You're an experienced hunter who knows and is interested in digital marketing (SEM, SEO, Display, Social etc.)
  • Sales is in your DNA
  • You're motivated…both inside and outside of work to achieve and grow
  • Extensive face-to-face sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • A well-crafted sales process/methodology (formally trained an advantage)
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • No fear approach to business development through cold-calling, door knocking, networking
  • You enjoy working in a team environment
  • You thrive in an on-the-road B2B sales role
  • You're super organised, well-presented, and love to be prepared
  • You're a trusted advisor who shares in their clients' successes
  • Ability to build rapport and develop strong business relationships
  • Ethical, a high level of personal integrity and initiative
