About the role

We are after a passionate Sales Executive with a keen interest in small businesses, creatives and weddings! The perks and incentives in this role are endless, for the right person every day will be a new and exciting challenge.

Job Role

  • Create effective sales, marketing plans and advertising strategies;
  • develop, implement and drive sales strategies and ensuring ongoing market penetration and competitive growth for the directory and campaign sales;
  • Manage all new business leads/ enquiries;
  • Convert enquiries and proposal into closed sales;
  • Contribute to the planning and coordination of core and non-core sales programs, promotional campaigns, events and initiatives to attract corporate clients and promote the company as preferred event centre;
  • Arranging meetings and liaising with Wedded Wonderland stakeholders;
  • Outbound focus on sales with a trend watch/ forecast approach, identify and win new business opportunities;
  • Focus on long-term sales strategies in maintaining WW relationships;
  • Generating leads and converting into sales and long-term clients;
  • Report all sales to Director across all channels ensuring WW is tending in the right direction;
  • Maximise advertising revenue across website, social media, events and newsletters;
  • Management and development of an existing portfolio of clients;
  • Grow an understanding of client's business objectives and create bespoke marketing solutions across digital;
  • Create sponsorship packages across the companies' event portfolio relevant to clients' business needs;
  • Identification and conversion of new client accounts and business opportunities;
  • Build and maintain database by collating and recording all contacts;
  • Manage consistent follow ups
  • Client briefings and creative presentations including pitch and tender preparation.

Skills and experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a sales role
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint Skills, Google Sheets & Google Docs
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivation and strong initiative
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and organise tasks to meet timeframes and targets
  • Good attention to details
