NQ Water Services is a locally owned and operated pumping, irrigation and filtration business, servicing Central and Northern Queensland.
We require experienced and astute Sales Representatives based at our Cannonvale and Mackay branches. Key aspects of the role include:

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager and servicing mostly industrial and commercial clients, the Sales Rep function is a critical 'front line' role within the organisation. As such, the focus is firmly on expertise and professionalism.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Build lasting relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for new business
- Provide input to sales planning and market share growth
- Liaise with suppliers and support personnel
- Reporting results and identifying areas of improvement
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Regular travel throughout the Bowen Basin will be required.
Skills & Experience

A minimum of 2 years recent performance in a similar role is essential

A sound technical knowledge of pumps, filtration and irrigation equipment is required

Professional qualifications, such as engineering, and/or membership of a relevant body would be advantageous

Ability to work autonomously and 'self-manage'

Must be well presented and possess excellent communication skills

Proven competency with the use of computerised ERP systems and sales planning tools.
