About Beacon Lighting Commercial

With over 30 years in the market as part of Australia’s leading lighting retail network, Beacon Lighting Commercial is a continually expanding business with a bright future!

We currently have four commercial offices across the country that specialise in project and specification work in areas such as apartments, hotels and aged care segments. Our key clientele are builders, electricians, architects and engineers, and to ensure we can offer the best lighting solutions, we have exclusive agency lines as well as our own branded product in an ever-expanding and exciting portfolio.

The Role

Based at Coopers Plains and reporting to the Office Manager, this role involves handling incoming sales enquires, processing of customer orders, maintaining stock levels and organizing customer deliveries and administration. Please note heavy lifting may be required, and the position may also involve performing some basic maintenance work in our showroom.

About You

This is role is vital for supporting our sales efforts and ensuring that our clients receive the best of service. You will therefore possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A proven track record in the Lighting/Electrical industry preferred

  • Demonstrated delivery of impeccable customer service

  • Previous internal sales experience and enjoy working within a team environment

  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence in working with a computer

  • Knowledge of both warehousing and logistics processes

  • Enjoy working within a team environment with great interpersonal skills

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills

  • A results oriented focus with a strong drive for success

  • A positive “can – do” and enthusiastic approach to your job
