Randstad are currently recruiting for a driven Account Executive to join a successful and supportive company based in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs.
This role will be a blend of relationship /account management and new business development, The ideal candidate will have the ability to ensure customer satisfaction by actively building relationships, identifying and fulfilling customer needs.
Sales & Account Management
- Cross-selling and up-selling new software services to existing customer accounts
- 60% account management
- 40% new business development
- Understanding the extensive portfolio of products on offer in order to solution sell to customers
- Proactively handling sales enquiries to maximise customer retention
- Account management of a broad portfolio of SMB customers
- Maintaining up to date records on the company’s CRM system (SalesForce.com)
- The identification of potential high value SMB customers to grow market share
- Identify growth opportunity within the designated portfolio by diversifying the product portfolio
Experience, attributes and Competencies required:
- Excellent Interpersonal/Communication Skills
- Persuasiveness / Sales Ability
- Customer Focus
- Self management, able to work in a team and autonomous environment
- Presentation and Negotiation skills
- Motivated with the drive to succeed
- IT Sales experience preferred but not required
The ideal candidate for this role will be a hunter and have previous experience in a Business Development/account management position (B2B). You will be a confident communicator with the ability to drive, negotiate and close sales. You will be a logical thinker with a proactive approach to winning additional business from new and existing customers.
