Kelair Pumps Australia is a well-established, market leader in the pump and water industry. A major player in the sales, distribution and manufacturing of one of the widest ranges of pumping equipment in Australia. Our target markets include the industrial, mining, commercial and fire industries. We offer complete support to our extensive customer base through our offices located in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Launceston, Perth and Mackay. Kelair is a company that continues to grow year on year and has a solid history of long serving staff.
A new position has been created for a suitably experienced person to take responsibility for selling pumps in the building and fire pump market along with providing production support.
About the role
Join part of our busy team reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be working alongside the Building & Fire sales team. This full time, permanent role located in Arndell Park, NSW is an internal sales position that requires suitable experience to promote our extensive product range, service support and solutions.
Key duties include:
- Telephone enquiries
- Supporting external sales staff
- Application / selection of suitable pumping solutions including design modifications
- Quoting customers/ tenders
- Managing existing projects
About You
If you are a proactive person with a strong customer service focus, take pride and ownership in your contribution, have excellent attention to detail, complete tasks to a high standard, and want to be part of a growing organisation this could be your next long term role.
This role will suit an individual who can self-manage time and is customer and results focused.
Your skills and experience:
- Pump knowledge would be beneficial but not necessary
- Good computer skills and familiar with Excel and Word
- Ability to work as part of a team alongside different staff from different departments of the company
- Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Motivated with the ability to plan, schedule and manage time efficiently
- Have the commitment to adhere to the companies Quality and WHSE policies and procedures
