About the Role:

In this role at Harley-Heaven Melbourne, you will report directly to the Dealer Principal and oversee and manage all operations of new and pre-owned bikes.   You will be responsible for meeting budget expectations, ensuring profitability, departmental reporting and driving outcomes with a true team focus. Your efforts will be streamlined across USED AND NEW BIKE SALES.

You will naturally lead from the front and have a very strong focus on team and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the performance of 3 sales executives
  • Oversee and manage all operations of new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Achieve monthly and annual objectives for the department in collaboration with Dealer Principal
  • Customer Service
  • Staff Management and Training of the Sales Department
  • Responsible for adequate stocking levels and sales target achievements

You will have:

  • 3 or more years of progressive experience within the New or Used automotive sales
  • Has worked within an automotive dealer environment
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, manage, and retain quality employees
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with sales of relevant motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated "closing skills"
  • Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximise both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership
