Pacific HVAC Engineering is an Australian owned market leader supplying fans, chillers and related products to the ventilation and air conditioning industries. 

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our ventilation division and as such, are seeking an energetic and results driven sales professional to join our New South Wales Sales team.

Reporting to the State Manager, this role will see you primarily focusing on an existing group of customers at both local and regional level, while also identifying and acting on new opportunities to maximise sales within an active market.
 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing & maintaining strong relationships with new & existing customers
  • Identifying & developing new business opportunities for mutual success
  • Engaging with estimators, engineers & project managers throughout various stages of project life-cycle
  • Following up all client enquiries and quotations to realise successful outcomes
  • Achieving set monthly & annual sales targets
  • Representing the company at industry functions as required
  • Working closely with internal project support to ensure customer requirements are met

To be successful in the role, you will have the following attributes:

  • Demonstrable ability in account management & business development
  • Strong self-management & the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Impeccable communication & negotiation skills
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to engage with & influence key stake holders and decision makers
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience within a BDM or account management role
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
