About the Role:

NHP is looking for a Business Developer to join our Queensland team to lead our collaboration and development of the Services range such as installed base evaluations, network audits, asset management and reporting, predictive maintenance, and OEE.

The Business Developer is expected to have the skills required to work with external stakeholders and mentor internal team members on key market analysis, product management tools and techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop strong relationships with customers and potential customers in the Services market to achieve a designated sales target level and to develop profitable business.
• Maintain close contact with customers and potential customers through effective utilisation of product knowledge, cross selling and coordination of support services to recognise, create and win opportunities.
• Develop and implement account strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirement for nominated targets.
• Prepare quotations and other proposals for submission to customers. Ensure all offers to customers are aligned to company capability to deliver the contents of the offer.
• Ensure CRM is updated regularly to reflect activities and current information on projects and customer contact details and opportunity pipeline
• Monitor developments in products or territory to forecast the opportunities for company products.
• Co ordinate customer presentations and training programs with Partners, specialists, applications and marketing teams, highlighting the products, solutions and service capabilities to develop profitable business.

About You:

You have strong interpersonal skills that allow you to effectively build teams and solve problems.
You persist to completion and push for results by displaying a co-operative team spirit and exhibiting leadership behaviour. And as you will be required to communicate regularly, you are confident in your knowledge and are able to adapt your presentation style and mediums to suit. By combining these attributes, you are therefore driven by a passion for helping business to find the best solution and enjoy solving technical problems.

Ideally you have:

• An Electrical Engineering Degree, or an Engineering degree in a related field (Mechatronics, Robotic, Electronics)
• Disciplined sales approach for strategic opportunities with long sales cycles
• Ability to identify potential growth opportunities
• Capability to work with state sales teams to identify and develop NHP service opportunities
• Excellent people management skills to motivate staff, customers, cross-functional teams, and third parties
• Commercial experience
