Our client is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand supplier of a range of premium European brands within the outdoor, public parks and urban spaces lifestyle market.  The entire product range brings people together and is recognised in aiding the physical, social, cognitive and emotional development of people across various life stages. 

As Senior BDM / State Manager Queensland, this is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join the business to help further develop a strong, long term sustainable business and market leadership.  You will closely work with the Managing Director and the sales team.  Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Forge solid long-term relationships with current and new customers
  • Ensure regular high quality customer call cycles are maintained and new product offerings are communicated effectively and accurately
  • Attend sales information days in support of customers and the team
  • Achieve sales budgets across all product categories
  • Provide detailed reporting to the Managing Director
  • Actively monitor and report on competitor activities
  • Provide strategic and tactical input into the medium to long term business planning processes
  • Attend and lead at relevant sales and trade exhibitions / conferences
  • Undertake key project management tasks including critical stakeholder engagement
  • Work closely with architects and landscape architects, developers and landscape contractors and local Government.

To support your success, you will display impressive communication, presentation and negotiation skills.  You demonstrate strong success in identifying, qualifying and growing new customer accounts. Attention to detail, strong project management skills, a customer solutions focus and deadline driven are some of your other refining qualities.  We ideally seek a computer literate person (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  AutoCAD and Studio Max 3D experience is an advantage.  Some experience in specifying technical products is an advantage.

We are seeking a highly and autonomously driven sales professional demonstrating a solid background of success.  Your professional mindset ensures your compliance with solid processes, procedures and structure. 

Based in Queensland, you will also develop strong B2B relationships in the Northern Territory.

On offer is a competitive remuneration package including Car Allowance and incentive structure.  Interstate and international travel (Europe) will be expected.
