We are a subscription-based business model – offering a range of innovative digital solutions to suppliers to the construction industry. One of the strongest revenue pipes in the business is harvesting the potential of our existing customers – keeping them as customers and growing average account value.

We have grown to need someone to take complete responsibility for renewing existing customers – improving systems, processes, software and our product to make our already very low attrition rates even lower. You need to be the kind of person that thrives on making customers happy and keeping customers in the fold.

We develop new products all the time, so there is plenty of scope to grow account value of existing customers with new offerings. This is a rewarding and high revenue performance role with excellent scope to contribute to broader parts of the business over and above the sales team.

We've been doing this long enough to know what works – to suit this job you must be:

  • A digital native who uses technology in everyday life.
  • Previous experiencing in customer retention, renewal, account management or relationship manager roles.
  • Excellent objection handling skills, influencing ability and likeability.
  • Someone who is willing to travel across Australia and enjoys travelling for 3-5 days stints, every month. 
  • Someone who is professionally presented, can talk to anyone, knows how to adapt their message to become a trusted advisor
  • Know what you're talking about, speak confidently, talk-the-talk of the industry
  • Be trustworthy, self-motivated, high on integrity and work well under pressure and with high expectations
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment of change for young Directors in a fluid corporate structure
  • Have a big sense of humour and a modern approach to doing business

During your day working at iSeekplant, you will be required to:

  1. Manage the relationship between our business and its existing customers -  harvest our renewals pipe to ensure all our customers renew their services
  2. Drive growth in average customer account value – find ways to grow accounts by selling new products
  3. Work with Directors and management to streamline renewals processes, continue to find ways to improve the product to reduce customer attrition
  4. Work with the customer success teams, and customer delivery team to ensure customers are happy and their services are provided to a timeline
  5. Resolve customer issues and find automated solutions to customer service issues.
  6. Engage and work other sales team members to share leads and business opportunities.
  7. Own the company renewal rate, and work to reduce customer attrition rates.
  8. Conduct customer renewal sales calls, conversations and meetings over the phone, online and in person.
  9. Conduct face-to-face sales meetings for other team members when travelling interstate.
  10. Consult with existing customers about spend and products, grow customer account value with aligned products and services

This is a senior sales role in our business, reporting to the National Sales Manager – but iSeekplant is a flat structure and this role will be an important contributor to the overall customer strategy of the business.  You need to be a person who wants to do more than selling – you have to want to improve and transform the business as well.

Your role will be measured by your performance to budget, growth in average account value and against renewal and attrition KPIs. There is a strong base salary and attractive commission structure.
