The Opportunity

This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Area Manager to market and promote our AMC business within Victoria, southern New South Wales and Tasmania. You will be a motivated, energetic and highly talented professional responsible for servicing all current and prospective AMC customers in the mineral, waterwell, HDD, civil and production sectors.   

The successful candidate will enjoy working closely and partnering with clients to provide information on new technologies and products while ensuring that existing products are meeting current demand.

Major responsibilities include:

• Attending client sites to demonstrate products, provide training, and resolve issues
• Proactively identify prospective clients and arrange meeting to market AMC’s products and services
• Negotiate pricing and service conditions
• Design effective drilling fluid programs

Essential

The successful candidate will have proven sales / business development experience with a demonstrable understanding of drilling fluids engineering and AMC products and services. It is essential that you are motivated to work autonomously across a large geographic area.

Additional requirements include:

• Passion for incorporating new and innovative techniques to increase market share
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to test and interpret drilling fluids samples
• High attention to detail with sound mathematical skills
• Valid Australian drivers licence
