Solutions ensuring that people and freight can move safely, efficiently and with a level of environmental sustainability. As the ITS industry is expected to grow with applications such as tolling management, parking and ticket management, telematics and traffic monitoring, we’re looking for a Sales Manager – Mobility Solutions in Brisbane to drive adoption rate and increase the market share for a major player in the industry.In short
- You’ll create new business opportunities (mainly with councils and government bodies), nurture positive relationships and sell their mobility systems and products in Queensland by following up on existing customers and developing new accounts
- You’ll lead the way and educate clients and industry bodies on technical advantages
- You’ll be accountable for the success of projects and the commissioning and acceptance of their range of mobility products

On the commercial side:
- You’ll prepare bids and offers
- You’ll attend and present at selected industry events to help raise brand and product awareness
- You’ll develop and own regional mobility market plans
- You’ll interact with your local and International Sales Teams to align and integrate mobility offerings into the broader range of the organisation
On the technical side:
- You’ll train and instruct client personnel
- You’ll be responsible for after-sales responses and resolutions via direct contact with the customer and provide the technical input for new quotations to ensure suitable matching of product to requirement
About you
- You have 5-7 years’ experience in the ITS/transportation sector, ideally complemented by an engineering, marketing or business management degree
- You’re commercially driven with a track-record in Sales and Business Development
- You have in-depth regional market knowledge, extensive network and know the key people in your industry
- You’re comfortable in presenting and managing technical discussions
- You've got a resilient personality with a strong level of independence
- You’d describe yourself as a serial networker who is confident and outgoing
- Plus points for your customer service skills and the ability to resolve conflict/tensions
- You’re able to travel domestically and internationally at very short notice (sometimes at least)
- You’ve got a full, clean international driving licence
