The Company:
 
Our client, TLE Electrical in Silverwater, is part of the leading distributor of electrical and data components and equipment in Australia, MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM). With a national branch footprint of over 250 stores, MMEM operates brands include TLE, Haymans, AWM and D&W, their success is a result of an ability to build strong customer relationships, demonstrate industry knowledge and provide a high level of service.
 
The Role: 

TLE Silverwater are seeking a self-driven Trainee Salesperson to learn all facets of the business beginning primarily with counter sales & customer service with a view to eventually progress within the business. If you are enthusiastic and motivated to do a job well, open to learning, plus reliable and switched on – this is the role for you.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Provision of customer service, including actioning customer requests and inquiries under supervision
• Promotion and sale of TLE’s products
• Providing relevant technical quotes
• Learning to raise sales documentation in a prompt, legible and accurate manner
• Learning to provide accurate invoicing; generating required credit notes; and debt collection
• Stock control including some minor store work assisting with re-stocking shelves and packing orders
• Assistance with additional tasks and management requests as required

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated & reliable worker with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and the desire to become a valued team member in a dynamic customer service environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills, a professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to build sufficient product knowledge quickly
• The ability to learn and use the Point of Sales systems efficiently
• Great rapport and relationship building abilities
• Strong time management
• The capability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
