Our client is an exclusive distributor of a number of highly respected craft breweries both locally and internationally. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking an experienced Account Manager to service the North Sydney to New Castle territory in both on and off premise accounts. 

You will be looking after predominantly On Premise accounts with a focus on long term relationships and portfolio growth, this is a hunter and account role. Most of the customers you will be calling on are known to the business. Your key focus will be to sell the beverages portfolio in line with annual sales budgets and stretch targets, supported by the annual marketing plans.

Key responsibilities will include:

- building relationships with on-premise customers
- high level of customer service and attention to detail 
- delivering brand education and training to key accounts 
- maximising effective sponsorship and promotional opportunities
- recognise new customer opportunities and competitor threats
- ensure marketing initiatives are being delivered and maximised   
- manage a geographical territory efficiently North Sydney to New Castle
  
This is a great opportunity to continue your sales career within the alcohol industry, or make the move from FMCG across. Responsible for identifying and targeting key customers, you will build long-term trading relationships with on premise venues along with key account groups driving the growth of the brands in a specified territory.

This is a highly autonomous role reporting to the National Sales Manager.  As such you will have previous sales experience, ideally you will have experience within drinks or FMCG and most importantly a huge passion for beer. The successful applicant will need to be disciplined, results orientated with outstanding communication skills and organisational aptitude.
