We are currently recruiting for the role of an Account Manager based at our central CBD, Sydney office. As an integral part of the AICD, the Advisory business unit focuses on business-to-business relationships, servicing for-profit, not-for-profit and government clients.
  
About the role
  
In this role, you will utilise your extensive and refined account management and business development skills to work with new and existing clients across different sectors of gold standard governance solutions.
  
The purpose of this role is to increase penetration in and grow revenue from existing organisations in your market NFP clients (or other markets as appropriate).  To develop whole of business partnerships to meet individual client needs, including board effectiveness diagnostic tools, governance education, sponsorships, scholarships and board consulting.

This role offers a great opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to join our Advisory business - working amongst a talented team committed to making a tangible difference to the Governance landscape of Australia and abroad.
 
Requirements
  
As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Extensive Business Development, Sales and Account Management experience
  • Strong background and experience in the B2B environment.
  • Experience of working with senior and executive levels of large businesses in a B2B environment
  • Highly developed communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and form relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Highly desirable: Understanding of governance principles
