Our client is a spatial information management business operating globally. we are looking for a talented Sales and Account Manager for our spatial solutions business..The role will report directly to the National Sales Manager and be responsible for the developing and managing client relationships both new and existing.

Key Focus:

The Sales/Account Manager will build on the existing business across Australia and establish themselves as the primary contact for customers and prospects in this market for data and consulting services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and upgrades of spatial data products and services into Government (all tiers) and the corporate sector including Utilities. Product and service extensions are available as offers to existing customers

Key duties and experience:

  • Proven business to business sales experience ( min 3 years)
  • An understanding of solution selling and adapting products to outcomes
  • Proven ability to deal with both technical and sales focused people
  • Demonstrated knowledge of related business practices – geospatial, business intelligence, property and asset management would be advantageous

Key Personnel attributes:

  • Proven sales capability in a solution selling role.  Previous experience with sales to Government or Corporate Sector would be welcomed
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with written proposals.
  • Able to think laterally and provide appropriate responses in discussions
  • Contemporary thinker & open minded
  • Honest and high integrity
  • Focused on meeting sales targets supported by a proven history
  • Self-starting and be able to remain positive under stress
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to present and act as the face of the company to customers
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM and sales pipeline management tools
