We exist to craft distinct and appealing jewellery, and it has been that way since our founding in 1979 when Michael and his wife Christine opened their first Michael Hill store in the New Zealand town of Whangarei, some 100 kilometres north of Auckland.

We’ve grown dramatically since then –  with over 300 stores, 3 websites and operating across Australia, New Zealand and Canada, with an operating revenue in excess of AUD$550 million.

We currently have an opportunity for a highly successful, motivated individual to join our team in the Hurstville Store.  As part of the management team you will drive our sales management systems to consistently achieve optimum profitability and growth within your store. Utilising your strong-focused business ambition you will collaborate with your Store Manager to plan, monitor and develop a thriving and successful Michael Hill business.

The Retail Manager position was created to bring external managers into our business, provide training & development on how to successfully run a Michael Hill business & then progress into a Store Manager role.
