The Role
 
We have a position available for a Presales Consultant to join our Pre-sales solutions team based in “Macquarie Park”. In this role you will be responsible for supporting Upstream Account Managers and Upstream Architects by providing technical, written, and verbal expertise in addition to assisting with the overall development and sale lifecycle of a solution. You will ensure Upstream solutions are successfully priced, architected, and documented within a scope all based on our client’s business requirements.
 
You will be responsible for the following:
 
  • Work closely with Account Managers to generate value for customers.
  • Work closely with Architects to ensure successful implementation of Solutions.  
  • Contribute thought-leading solutions, ideas and concepts aligned to vertical sector knowledge.
  • Engage with external and internal stakeholders to ensure solution delivers overall client objectives.
  • Ensure Pre-Sales capability in consultancy and technical solution design is a competitive advantage and actively used in the sales process
  • Responsible for ensuring solutions are commercially viable and profitable
The Person
 
The successful candidate will have extensive previous experience in a customer facing presales role and experience in supporting a sales engine, print, document management, business process management or similar role. 
 
We’re ideally looking for someone who has presales experience with M-Files, ABBYY, or similar software products.


Other qualifications include:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in technical and business consulting roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technology savvy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative problem solver and conceptual thinker
