The Role
Based in Mulgrave and reporting to the Head of Customer Engagement and Business Development, a newly created opportunity has become available for a Manager – Financial Markets, to join us in a permanent, full-time position.
This role will be initially focused on developing and executing an end to end engagement strategy within the financial market for the uptake of Legal Entity Identifiers to support a range of local and international financial reporting regulations. We are seeking candidates with demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in financial markets, ideally within the context of financial reporting and regulations.
The role will work closely with internal groups in the delivery of the LEI service, and with our internal marketing team in the development and execution of promotional campaigns. The role will also hold responsibility for LEI reporting internally and will work closely with GS1 Global Office on key project activities. Over time the role will evolve to managing business development opportunities within financial markets for GS1 Australia, working with a range of stakeholders.
What you will need to succeed
As the successful candidate, the skills you will need to succeed will be your strong consulting / account management/business facing skills and your high-level stakeholder management capabilities. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate that you possess the following:
- Experience producing and presenting reports & statistics.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Commercial focus with strong analytical, planning and project management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Fastidious attention to detail.
