Job Description:
The Sales Development Representative, Outbound (SDR) role will prepare you for an exciting and rewarding software sales career in a highly competitive technology world.
This role will give you hands-on experience developing and building your sales skills while building your product knowledge and contributing to the company’s success.
The skills acquired in the SDR role are critical for your success as you transition into a quota carrying role. The SDRs are tasked with researching, developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within their assigned territory. SDR's will work closely with their Account Executives in order to target and qualify prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Research and build "cold accounts" - adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling.
- Conduct high level conversations with Senior Executives across Australia.
- Create and prioritise strategic target account lists within a defined territory
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Sales Pipeline
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, industry trends
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months sales experience preferably Business to Business but retail is also welcomed for Graduates / Grads
- You are a highly motivated, tenacious, and a self-starter.
- Have a true passion to join the technology industry.
- A CAN DO ATTITUDE
No Software experience required!
SALARY ON OFFER
$50k to $65k+ Super + uncapped comms - Earn $80k in your first year
