About the role

We proudly believe our strongest asset is our people and back these words up with action. With this in mind, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our business development team.  Expansion of our New South Wales business and Sydney client base has facilitated the needs for an addition to our BDM team.   

The key objectives of this Sydney-based role are:

To work closely with Pinnacle Safety and Training's Business Development Team to: 

  • manage and foster existing client relationships
  • Deliver exceptional customer service 
  • identify and develop new clients in line with Pinnacle's national strategy
  • grow B2B sales in the region
  • identify industry trends and growth opportunities

This will be achieved by:

  • working collaboratively with key stakeholders within Pinnacle Safety and Training
  • targeting a broad range of clients across a variety of industries 
  • leveraging a systematic approach to sales
  • utilising solution-selling principles and practices to form strong strategic bonds with client

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business and/or knowledge gained through relevant experience
  • Exceptional prioritisation, organisational and time management skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in account management and business development at a senior level 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed key performance indicators and revenue budgets 
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to structure and articulate messages to different audiences at all levels
  • Proactive and motivated with strong value-add business networks and revenue channels

It's essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate:

  • They are self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm and hunger for long term success
  • They know how to present and carry themselves with confidence
  • Sound business acumen and understanding of company structure 
  • Excellence in communication – articulate, a keen listener, good writing skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
  • 5+ years' experience in B2B sales
  • A current Drivers Licence and own vehicle
