Cenvet is part of the Cenversa group of companies. We are an Australian owned and operated, animal health wholesaler – supplying products to veterinarians and pet stores across Australia. In operation for over 50 years we're experiencing steady growth and currently employ over 150 staff across Australia, it's an exciting time to join our team!
Cenvet Australia Pty Limited is a leading distributor of animal health care products to the veterinary industry. This opportunity will see you will proactively manage the existing customer relationships - whilst utilising your business development and networking talents to leverage new business opportunities within your Brisbane based territory.
The key responsibilities will be:
- Travelling to your customer clinics daily - ensuring the service levels are being met, the relationships remain close, and that any issues are resolved quickly with a win/win outcome
- Promote Cenvet's full product and service offering
- Keep customers informed of new products, price movements and order specials
- Collection of customer product returns (e.g damaged stock)
- Participate in regular product training meetings with manufacturers
- Record specific customer requirements in stock control and reordering, to ensure order opportunities are maximised
- Prepare regular reports on new business and customer contact activities
The successful candidate will thrive on relationships with passionate people, have an energetic attitude, take pride in your work and ownership of your role.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full, clean driver's license
- Animal industry experience highly desired
- A good level of physical fitness - some of our products are heavy! (20kg bags of dog food)
- A natural ability to develop fast rapport with customers
- Professional presentation and grooming
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, managing business customers within a allocated territory
- Excellent computer skills in the use of Microsoft office
- Be comfortable with overnight travel when visiting regional customers or attending conferences
- Attendance at sponsored events, or work/industry related events will be required
