Our client is an established express courier service, offering same day & interstate delivery capabilities, with locations across Australia and a network of 2,000 couriers.

Due to continued growth so far this year, a position has become available for a Business Development Manager to join their team at their Sydney CBD location.
The Role | Business Development Manager
This is the perfect opportunity for a Business Development Manager from within the courier industry to move to a company with a fresh way of doing things.
Your main responsibilities will be creating new business opportunities, by contacting small-large businesses e-commerce companies and then meeting them face to face to create a solution for their delivery strategy.
In a typical week, you likely meet between 8-10 customers, consulting them face to face. Team meetings are set once a week, whilst you would be able to structure your days according to your preference as long as targets are achieved, giving you autonomy.
In this role, you will have the added benefit of being able to offer your clients cutting edge technology; an app which allows the user to follow their delivery in real time for an accurate delivery time, which is unique at the envy of their competitors.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Proven track record in Sales (Achieving budgets, Being a strong performer in your prior role).
- Ideally experienced in domestic courier/transport sales. However, if you are a strong sales person from other industries with a passion for marketing or media we will also consider your application.
- Face to face solution-based sales experience is ideal.
- You have the personality that builds trust in selling to small-large companies
Salary
Salary dependent on experience, Base is between $75k-$90k + Super + Car Allowance + Uncapped Comms $150k OTE.
