Located in North Sydney, a helloworld Business Manager will be a result driven individual who is passionate, energetic, able to communicate effectively at all levels and deliver value to the franchise network by driving company initiatives.

 

Operationally, the Business Manager supports both individual franchisee and Franchise Company to increase sales, profitability, provide direction to the helloworld network, customer experience and overall store compliance. This relies on the Business Manager spending a large proportion of their time on the road visiting stores, as well as reporting up-to-date revenue and profit results.

You will lead with an open and collaborative leadership style to not only assist them with their day-to-day jobs, but also offer personal and professional development as the primary caretaker of the relationship between Franchisee and Franchisee Company.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy's supporting business growth targets;
  • Build, maintain & convert from a healthy new pipeline;
  • Maintaining your  portfolio by providing regular support on all necessary areas as per the operations manual;
  • Organising local expo's on a consistent basis;
  • Supporting franchisees in the development of a 12 month local area marketing strategy;
  • Ensuring franchisees are informed of and aligned with national marketing campaigns;
  • Facilitate relevant training on preferred Product;
  • Assisting franchisees in producing annual budgets and regularly review them throughout the year;
  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards and all elements of the operations manual;
  • Coordinating the franchise agreement renewal process in conjunction with management to ensure set performance targets are met;
  • Developing a detailed understanding of our customers product needs and levels of preferred product support;
  • Communicate and deploy all franchisee incentive initiatives to the network
  • Work with members on a strategic 12 month business plan 


Experience required:

  • A highly motivated self-starter with who is a strategic thinker and has the ability to work autonomously
  • Results driven, can achieve key strategic objectives based on individual key performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Maintains close working relationships with all internal staff, franchisees and external stakeholders/ partners
  • Experience in retail environment a definite advantage
  • Has excellent administrative and priority management skills
  • Possesses strong negotiation skills in order to work with franchisees through contracting, recontracting, lease negotiation, recruitment and retention 
  • Has exceptional organizational ability and strongly developed analytical skills
  • Has solid Microsoft Office skills that can prepare reports and presentations
  • Is well networked and well respected  within the Travel Industry
  • Possess strong Local Area Marketing Skills and an eye for merchandising and store presentation
  • An effective team player, with well-developed problem solving skills
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has a thorough understanding of the retail travel industry
  • A team player with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Is able to demonstrate flexibility and the ability to travel frequently
  • Be able to Train and present
  • Understand CRM
