Our client is one of Australia's most comprehensive manufacturers and marketers of cement based building products, pigments, renders and coatings. Through its six product group divisions, it manufactures an ever expanding product range for commercial and domestic builders, architectural concrete, underground mining, hardware retailing, sports turf, and civil developments throughout all states of Australia.

Privately owned, its success over the past four decades has been driven by a customer service focused culture, a continuous product development programme and backed with excellent manufacturing and logistics.

Following the successful launch of an improved and more competitive building façade product range, the company is seeking a trade specialist to drive sales of these items to new and existing accounts into the Southern Brisbane / Gold Coast region.

You will be selling a unique and very attractive range of cement renders, acrylic textures, roof, and wall coatings to solid plasterers, painters and builders through company run trade outlets and to independently owned distributors.

You will be closely supported by a hands-on National Sales Manager who loves spending time with his salespeople in the field helping them win new business. So it is an excellent opportunity to be part of a motivated and focused sales team where you will have the chance to excel in a positive and supportive work environment

Your selling efforts will be supported by an experienced logistical department, a responsive factory staff as well as a very capable research and development team. So new opportunities that you uncover will be capitalised on quickly.

The role will appeal to a competitive individual who desires the autonomy, challenge and the satisfaction that results from developing a new territory.

The successful candidate will have at least three years industrial sales experience, strong oral and written communication skills, enjoy working in the building industry and have good territory, organisational and problem solving skills.

Product training will be provided, however previous experience in, architectural façade products, coatings or systems; concrete, concrete repair or construction products is an advantage.
