What’s the job involve?

The Bid Governance Manager is responsible for providing solutions focused, expert bid governance support to all segments (Enterprise, Business and Government).  The role will have a strong focus on ensure good bid governance in the responses to large, strategic, high profile and high value commercial bids in particular. 

You will be required to develop and manage strong, collaborative and effective relationships with Sales, Product, Solutions, Legal, Pricing and a range of other contributing stakeholders from across the business up to senior executive level.

This role can be located either in Melbourne or Sydney.

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • Experience developing complex strategic solutions and corresponding bid responses.
  • Strong commercial sales acumen acquired from experience across multiple industries or working with varied clients.
  • Working with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups across a commercial enterprise.
  • Capacity to identify solution gaps and provide meaningful input to further develop the solution or work with stakeholders to develop.
  • Understanding and experience working with defined bid processes and evolving processes to meet the individual requirements of each response.
  • Experience developing bids in logistics, IT, digital or complex technology environments would be highly regarded.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with wide range of stakeholders across different business functions across a commercial enterprise.
  • Ability to lead stakeholders groups and facilitate/negotiate positive outcomes through bid development process.
  • Experience identifying skill gaps and delivery focused coaching/mentoring to staff or colleagues to improve performance.
