The role

ai offers a Business Development Manager role within Pivotech, our shower screens and wardrobes brand in North and East of Melbourne including some regional travel. The primary focus of this person will be customer maintenance and development through the implementation of new products and digital solutions. The role supports existing customers and also develops new customers with product and service solutions which match their needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop strong relationships of trust and respect with customers
  • Training customers on and promote use of PivotPoint.mobi and PivotPoint Pro, Pivotech's ordering and shower screen engineering platforms
  • Promote Pivotech's range of products to new and existing customers
  • Provide effective and enthusiastic technical support for customers face-to-face, on the phone and through email
  • Provide technical support when required and work with customers to find solutions based on their needs
  • Work closely with clients and your teammates at Pivotech to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Primarily based in Melbourne suburbs, there is also a requirement to travel to regional customers.

Essential skills and traits:

  • Experience with fabricated and/or manufactured technical products
  • Experience with successful solution-based sales
  • Collaboration with team members at Pivotech
  • Effective Presentation skills
  • An organised and effective planner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive focus with a strong desire to learn and gro 
  • Willingness to embrace the Pivotech code of ethics
  • Be able to work autonomously and as a team member
  • Effective computer skills

Desirable skills and traits:

  • Experience in B2B shower screen or glass company
  • Experience with ERP
  • Experience in a fabrication and manufacturing environment
