About the role:
Effectively partner with our customers to drive performance, with a focus of gaining strong incremental growth through new business development in our Tasmania Liquor On Premise business.
What you’ll do:
- Increase the on-premise customer within the Southern Tasmanian region
- Develop strategies and execute key initiatives that drive sales growth for both ALM and our customers
- Work closely with suppliers to secure new business and improve sales performance
- Gather market information on competitor activity and communicate to stakeholders
- Develop and manage joint business plans with key customers
- Maintain frequent communication with customers regarding market insights and consumer trends
- Increase customer loyalty via professional relationships and value adding activations
- Devise marketing strategies to positively impact customer & consumer purchases
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in managing customers and achieving sales targets in a sales based role
- Sound knowledge of the liquor on-premise channel
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to forge mutually beneficial working relationships
- Ability to multitask and seek new opportunities whilst ensuring existing customer needs are met
- High level of customer service offering a consultative approach
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and customer data management experience
- Negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- A strategic focus on long-term goals with the ability to work within an agile working environment
- Self motivation, outcome focus, positivity and enthusiasm
