An extraordinary opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Sport Sales expert, to join our Sales department, based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Melbourne Sport Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be exposed to all sport programming on the Seven Network, including AFL, Test Cricket, Big Bash League, Women’s Cricket, Wimbledon, Horse Racing, Golf, and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sales: Meeting revenue targets across each sport property, primarily through the sale of broadcast sponsorships
- Implementation: Specific portfolio management and overseeing all broadcast campaigns deliver as sold
- Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to maximise network revenue and uncover growth opportunities for each sport
- Communication: Build strong relationships both internally and externally to enhance the overall team’s effectiveness and performance
To be successful in this position you will be a professional who has extensive experience in a similar sales role. Ideally you are a sports fan and understand the business of sport. You will also possess outstanding interpersonal, communication and networking skills, be results orientated and driven to achieve sales targets. Formal qualifications in business are preferable.
