We are looking are looking for an experienced sales professional to sell advertising packages to our clients across Australia .

We publish a number of music and entertainment focused publications and websites including: TheMusic and themusic.com.au, plus a number of event guides throughout the year.

If you want to be paid based on your results and achievements then this position is for you.

The role

This full time role sees you chasing new business for our media across all categories of business.  You will need to be a lateral thinker and able to tailor packages to customers offering different parts of our product offerings depending on the customer needs.  Your self-motivation, superior communication and eagerness to succeed will provide the base skills to build a successful career.  You will be rewarded with a salary base and uncapped generous incentive structure - in a fun work environment.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Prospect for potential customers within your customer categories
• Proactive contact of potential clients over the telephone
• Generate lead lists and initiating contact with prospective clients
• Generate interest in advertising and other opportunities
• Secure client business
• Achieve individual targets
• Contribute to the growth and success of the company
• Attend events
