About the Role

STM is seeking a Sales Representative for our VIC & TAS market. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the position is based in Ashwood, Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Winning new business and securing relationships with new customers;
  • Managing & strengthening relationships with a broad portfolio of existing customers;
  • Working to call cycle plans and budgets to achieve set KPI’s;
  • Planning and attending regular industry trade shows;
  • Providing support to our internal sales team as necessary.

A fully maintained company vehicle is part of this package with the chance to travel around regional Victoria and Tasmania. Full product training will be provided.

Skills & Experience

In addition you will bring to the role the following skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbally and written;
  • Ability to work in a team and independently as required;
  • Passionate approach to helping customers achieve their goals;
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with all business stakeholders;
  • Strong wholesale B2B sales experience with a proven track record in the automotive or similar industry;
  • Familiar with basic computing including MS Office suite.
