Our Client

Silverstone Recruitment is excited to have been engaged by one of Australasia`s most prominent steel companies to source an Account Manager. Known for their exceptional customer service and ability to deliver, they are regarded as elite in their field, an innovative steel solutions specialist servicing the mining sector with their premium products.
  
The Opportunity 
As a result of continued growth our client is seeking to expand their team by engaging a dedicated Account Manager who presents a passion for people, and an underpinning desire to be successful. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage existing accounts through exceptional customer service, identify new opportunities and customer requirements, and prepare quotations to ensure the company maintains its premium presence in the market.
  
This is an exciting permanent employment opportunity, pinned by an attractive salary, bonus structure and supply of a fully maintained vehicle. Whilst home base will be Perth, there will be a requirement to travel to various mine sites across Western Australia on a semi-regular basis.
  
To be successful, the following criteria will be highly regarded: 
  • Sound knowledge of steel products and/or manufacturing-fabrication (preferred although not essential)
  • Previous mining experience either within a trades or account management/sales capacity
  • Ability to listen to customer needs, and deliver on their expectations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong industry contacts and networks
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Excellent organisation and times management skills
  • Self-motivation, drive, commitment and ambition to succeed
  • High level of initiative
  • Valid WA “C” Driver’s License
